  1. Brendan O'Neill Says:

    Hi Paddy

I’m a writer who has just found a graphic artist to work with on doing a Cuchullain story.

Interesting to stumble across your site!

I’m basing my story on The Boy’s Cuchullain by Eleanor Hill.

Good luck with that Brendan. Just drew Cú Chulainn’s first appearance in The Cattle Raid of Cooley, on page 10 – it’ll be a few weeks before that appears on the web.

  3. Dermot Says:

do you speak Irish? or do you translate directly from old/middle Irish?

  4. paddybrown Says:

Hi Dermot. I can’t claim to speak Irish, although if it’s not too complicated I can hack my way through it with a dictionary. I’m on surer ground with Old and Middle Irish, which I’ve taught myself to translate from books with the assistance of the Old-Irish-L email list, but I still wouldn’t claim to be able to speak it.
