The Cattle Raid of Cooley page 2. 1. Cú Ruí's army presents itself to Ailill and Medb, king and queen of Connacht, at Cruachan. The infantry are led by three chariots, Cú Ruí in the lead one. The herald puts his trumpet under his arm and announces his lord Ailill and Medb, who sit under a pavilion flanked by armed bodyguards. His dialogue flows across this panel and into panel 3, a close-up of Ailill, formal and impassive. Herald: To the gracious lord Ailill, son of Máta, by the grace of Nuada king of Connacht, the bravest, most generous and without jealousy; 4. Close up of Medb, smiling slightly. Herald (off): to his gracious lady Medb, daughter of Eochu Feidlech, her husband's equal in all things and without equal in beauty; 5. The herald, with Cú Ruí and his charioteer behind him. Herald: my lord Cú Ruí, son of Dáire, king of the Corcu Duibne of Munster, pledges his loyalty and his arms!

Really don’t know if I like the red yet, but the drawings are wonderful as always and the story is promising. Look forward to the rest. Thumbs up!

I know there’s not much story yet to comment on, but I’m glad you like the drawing, and I’m sure you’ll get used to the red line. I’m very pleased with the work I’m doing.

Wow. I’ve always been a fan of Irish myth and lore, and it is truly amazing what you’re doing here! Keep it up!
